• Rehearsals are held weekly during term time at The Lookout, Sowerby Bridge, from 7:20pm to 8:50pm, with a 10-minute break. • Please vacate the venue by 9:00pm sharp to respect closing time. • Term dates below.

• Membership fees are either paid termly upfront at £8.50 per 90min session. • OR monthly at £27 per month which includes 38 rehearsals over the academic year 2025-26. • Monthly fees are spread across 12 equal monthly payments by standing order, covering 38 rehearsals per year. Payments continue through holidays to avoid larger upfront costs. • If you choose to leave the choir, a final balance will be calculated based on your start and end dates. • New starters can either pay for the rest of the term upfront or cover remaining sessions in their first month, then start monthly payments from the 1st of the next month.

• Members are expected to attend weekly rehearsals consistently. This helps the ensemble grow and progress together. Frequent absences can disrupt learning for others, as time may be taken up repeating material. • Please bring all song resources (lyrics, scores, etc.) in a folder to every rehearsal. Searching for or replacing missing materials takes valuable rehearsal time. • Practice between rehearsals is expected. Teach tracks are provided for your learning—please use them regularly and do not share them outside the choir.

• Please be kind, courteous, and respectful to: - Fellow choir members - The Musical Director (Laura Morrell) - Any venue staff • This includes all in-person interactions and online communications (e.g. social media groups or forums). • Treat the venue, equipment, and resources with care.

• If you decide to discontinue your membership, please email Laura Morrell at: info@lmorrellmusic.co.uk - Provide at least two weeks’ notice. • Please keep your contact details up to date so we can reach you with important updates.

• There is no dress code for rehearsals—come as you are, ready to sing!

Photos and videos may be taken during rehearsals and performances for use on the choir’s website, social media, or promotional materials. If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please let Laura know via email info@lmorrellmusic.co.uk

Please do not attend rehearsals if you are unwell with anything potentially contagious (e.g. cold, flu). We aim to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone’s wellbeing.

You will asked to provide emergency contact details on joining just in case you need assistance.

In the unlikely event of a rehearsal being cancelled (due to bad weather alerts for example) an online rehearsal at the usual rehearsal time will be offered and made available on playback for a limited time.

In the event of Laura, the Music Director, being unable to run the rehearsal due to unforeseen circumstances (family emergency/illness etc), one of the following options will given:

1) A substitute MD will lead the rehearsal

2) An alternative 'catch up' date will be offered in person

3) An online session will be arranged (also made available on playback for a limited time) Refunds are not available in this instance as alternative arrangements will be made to catch up the session.
