You could use this resource in many different ways to extend learning and keep it fresh with each use whilst reinforcing the rhythm learning...

  • Vocalise the rhythm on the card using robot 'beeps', with the teacher echoing the correct answer - the singer has to listen to see if they go it right. Every card completed correctly gets fed to the robot!
  •  Encourage your singers to vary their robot sounds playing with pitch and timbre.
  • Combine multiple cards together to form longer rhythm patterns
  • Play with tempo when repeating a single rhythm card
  • Add robotic movements to internalise pulse
  • Ask singers to invent their own robot syllables to create a robot 'chat' - doubling up as a workout for the articulators!

*This version uses UK musical terminology, in A4 document size.
